Modify your player in the comfort of your own home with this DIY kit. This item is supplied on a rental basis, to be returned to us within 14 days / once you have modified your machine. We include a return by date with each kit (usually a 14 day period).

To use this service, select your model from the drop down list below, then press the "RENT SERVICE KIT" button. To find your model, ignore any letters after the main model number of your player. For example, if you have a DV-434-K, your model is listed as a DV434. We will then dispatch the correct service kit with full instructions for your model.

All rental service kits require a signature upon delivery (UK). Each kit is supplied with a return address label, and a recorded delivery slip. Simply apply these to the packing and return via your local post office. If you wish to purchase a unlimited use service tool, we have these available for sale. We ship worldwide, but make sure your DVD player is compatible BEFORE ordering! You can use this mod on any compatible model from any region. Be aware, some models are not PAL compatible (NTSC only) so will NOT play a PAL disc once modified. You can check if your player supports PAL in the user manual, or burn a test disc by following the instuctions HERE.
